Watercraft by drone

Most serious Anglers I know spend a large amount of time doing reconnaissance of different Lakes and Waterways. I’ve spent hours upon hours myself walking around Lakes and hacking my way through wooded areas and up to my heels in mud. I always thought a drone would be a perfect way to do it but the cost of the drone at the time was simple too high. Thankfully prices have dropped and a decent drone can be got for around €500 euro. The investment has paid itself back as I’ve saved hours and hours and I have it all recorded so even at home I can review them before planning a trip. It is worth noting that Foliage in the trees can sometimes cause issues with the drone’s range but flying over 1Km is well achievable with good line of sight to the drone. I would only fly on calm days were the wind is less than say 15kmph.
